The goal isn't simply to understand your mind.

It's to build a relationship with yourself that changes the way you live.

Meet your therapist

Meet Michelle

Michelle is a holistic trauma therapist with over 10 years of experience integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, somatic therapy, yoga therapy, and psychedelic integration to support deep trauma healing.

Born and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, Michelle brings a multicultural perspective shaped by her work across the U.S., Mexico, and Bali. Her approach integrates evidence-based trauma therapy with a deep respect for intuition, symbolism, and the many ways people make meaning of their experiences.

To Michelle, healing isn't just about processing the past—it's about cultivating a more authentic relationship with yourself, reclaiming self-trust, and reconnecting with your intuition, so you build a life from who you truly are rather than from old survival patterns.

About Me

Qualifications

I was born and raised in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, a city I hold close to my heart. At 18, I moved to Texas, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Psychology (2012) from The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and later, a Master’s degree (MA) in Mental Health Counseling (2014) from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).

In 2015 I became a fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, Colorado, and New Jersey, a qualified psychologist in Mexico (2019), a registered yoga teacher (2016) and a Reiki master (2018). My work has been shaped by practicing across the U.S., Bali and Mexico, allowing me to develop and practice a multicultural and holistic perspective on healing.

Approach

My approach is deep, intuitive, and grounded, blending evidence-based techniques with an attunement to the unconscious layers of experience. My goal is to help you access the core of the iceberg, where real change takes root.

Therapy with me is collaborative, experiential, and tailored to you. Some sessions involve EMDR or IFS. Others focus on slowing down, noticing what your body is communicating, or making space for emotions that have never felt safe to experience. Rather than following a rigid formula, I draw from different approaches depending on what will best support your nervous system and your goals.

Clients I work Best With

I work best with people who have spent much of their lives feeling different—whether because they're highly sensitive, neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, immigrants, therapists, healers, creatives, or simply because they've never quite felt like they belonged.

Many have spent years adapting, overthinking, hiding parts of themselves, or caring for everyone else before themselves. They've often done meaningful inner work, understand their history, and recognize their patterns, yet still find themselves repeating them when it matters most.

They aren't looking for more insight alone—they're looking for a deeper sense of self-trust, a more authentic relationship with themselves, and the freedom to live from who they truly are rather than from old survival patterns.

A Therapy Session With Me

Therapy with me is a conversation, a collaboration, and sometimes even a little magic—because healing isn’t always linear, and the best insights often come from unexpected places.

Ultimately, my work isn't simply about reducing symptoms. It's about helping you cultivate a different relationship with yourself—one rooted in curiosity, compassion, and self-trust.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to support you on your journey.
