a little bit about

I'm an abstract thinker, and this deeply influences how I connect with my clients. I like to explore the deeper layers of their experiences such as their sense of identity, purpose, and meaning.

I consider all the interconnected parts of my clients' Selves, as a holistic therapist with an eclectic approach. I incorporate creative techniques, such as various forms of art, symbols and metaphorical exercises in our sessions.

In my work, I like to go deep and uncover the roots of my clients' challenges and the patterns that may not be immediately visible. I am a flexible problem-solver, always tailoring my approach to match the unique needs and preferences of each individual.

I was born and raised in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, a city that I hold dear to my heart. At age 18, I moved to Texas to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology followed by a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling.

I hold state licenses as a Professional Counselor in Texas, Colorado and New Jersey.  I'm also a qualified psychologist in Mexico and a registered yoga teacher.

I have worked as a mental health service provider in various cities across the United States and Mexico. I've also completed several continuing education trainings and certifications on mindfulness, EMDR, IFS, trauma-informed yoga therapy, and energetic healing in several cities across the world.
